# First time setup: what's the recommended order of steps?

Just signed up and the empty state has a handful of setup options with no obvious order. Should I connect integrations first, invite the team first, or something else? Would rather not backtrack halfway through.

We did integrations last and regretted it a little, the invited teammates ended up re-doing some setup once the integrations landed. Invite the team first, connect integrations second, then customize views once everyone is in.

Agreed with the order above, and our setup guide under Getting started follows that same sequence if you want a checklist.
